Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Paro (2,200m) – Cultural Introduction
Arrive in Paro, one of the most scenic Himalayan valleys. After check-in, explore Paro town and visit Rinpung Dzong. The day is kept light to support gradual acclimatization.

Day 02: Hike to Taktsang Monastery (3,120m)
Begin your acclimatization with a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched dramatically on a cliffside. The trail passes through pine forests with panoramic viewpoints along the way.
Walking: 4–5 hours
Day 03: Paro to Jele Dzong (3,480m) – Trek Begins
Drive to the trailhead and begin your trek through cool pine forests. As you ascend, enjoy expanding views of Paro valley before reaching Jele Dzong on a ridge.

Overnight: Camp
Day 04: Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha (3,770m) – Ridge Walk
Follow a scenic ridgeline with sweeping Himalayan views. Pass yak herder camps and open grazing meadows as you settle into the rhythm of trekking.

Day 05: Jangchulakha to Jimilangtsho Lake (3,880m) – Alpine Lakes
The landscape transitions into alpine terrain as you trek toward Jimilangtsho Lake. Surrounded by peaks, the lake offers a stunning setting for overnight camping.

Day 06: Jimilangtsho to Thimphu via Simkota (4,200m) – High Pass
Trek past Simkota Lake and cross the highest point of the journey (~4,200m), marked by prayer flags. Descend through forest trails to the roadhead and transfer to Thimphu.

Day 07: Departure
After breakfast, your guide will escort you to Paro International Airport for your departure. Leave with cherished memories of Bhutan’s landscapes, culture, and spiritual heritage.
